Diamondbone Sands

Rolling dunes stretch out as far as the eye can see. The dark clouds don't cover the desert as much as other places, so the sun occasionally shines in intense spurts of heat. But becuase of the added darkness of the clouds, nights are often frigid and cold, freezing anyone who wanders the dunes without protection for long moments.
