In the days of Creation, the lords of the stars and planets formed a new world, Thirenia, where life would start from scratch. It took millions of years for life to evolve into the forms of animals, Humans, Elves, and other races blessed with magic. Kingdoms rose and fell, finally ending in the Thirenian Royal Family to be the last and only Kingdom in the world.
But it is the very essence of life to compete for power, and such fighting broke out in the world. Hungry for meaningless power, towns and villages broke out in riots, killing countless of their own kind. The lords wept for what their creations had resorted to in the end, and their tears fell to the planet, collecting in small, rare pools all across Thirenia.
