Dark Clouds loom over the eintire planet. Sunlight is rarely seen, and never put to waste by outcasts running from the darkness. The population of the world is dramatically low. Living species of the planet are kept in sealed cities by the Kingdom and forced to fight against the demons and vampires who depend on blood and soul to live, who are ruled by their own kings of darkness. Metal weaponry is forged by blacksmiths for little pay, and firearms have slowly started to fall into the hands of the public. Shapeshifters in the flesh of the once peaceful Humans and hybrids of Humans and animals walk as outcasts in the world. Those who breathe water have grown legs and left the polluted waters, rarely returning to their homes under the seas. Angels have fallen from the skies above from the weakness of the lords.
Those who aren't repelling demons or plotting against the Kingdom seek the Lords' Tears, or "Lithir", a water-like substance that is said to purify those who drink it and grant powers none can gauge just by possesing the liquid. But those with tainted intentions for the Lithir cannot be purified by the liquid, and are mutated into powerful creatures which hold power that knows no boundries.
And so the struggle to live and find the sacred Lords' Tears rages on, the Dark Clouds looming over all who step foot outside their homes and caves alike to seek peace for themselves or the whole world, or drown the planet in everlasting darkness.
